Primitive Painted Towel Holder - Drab Olive Green.....
This painted towel holder is in good condition with wear to the paint as shown in photos which gives it a nice, primitive look.
This piece would look great in a bathroom, kitchen or just on a wall holding a few pieces of homespun fabric.
It measures 19 1/2" in length and is 3 1/2" in depth. Back board is 1/4" thick.
Backboard is painted but unpainted on the reverse side. It has a couple of tiny, tight age cracks. It also has two holes drilled for hanging but done in a very naive fashion.
Appears to have been painted a grey color originally and then a later drab olive paint color was applied.
Great Primitive Piece for displaying fabrics or using as a utilitarian piece....
