Early Velvet Carrot with Stems and Early Velvet Pear with Green Stems.....
Two early 20th C pieces of velvet... One a carrot filled with sawdust and topped with green ribbons ( stems ).
The other a pear hard stuffed with cotton and topped off with green crochet yarn and also a green trim on the bottom.
Both in excellent condition with strong, vibrant colors. Pear has a little bit of fading. Carrot has a couple of dark smudge spots which I tried to show in last photo...
Carrot measures 7 inches in length with an additional 2 inches in ribbon.
Pear measures 3 3/4 inches in height and has a 2 inch diameter bottom...
