Early Tin Box measures 4 inches in height, 3 1/2 inches wide.
Condition is good.
There is a little paint loss on the edges of the lid as shown in photo.
Original knob remains intact as well as hinges and original bracket to close lid snugly.
Bottom of box shows nice dark aged tin patina.
Painted decoration speaks for itself.
Box most likely was used for tea.
