19C Fraktur - 1841 - Carroll County, Ohio...........
A nice early 19C Fraktur done on a preprinted form from Harrisburg, PA.
The fraktur documents the birth of a son on 4 March, 1841. Some of the calligraphy is hard to read but looks like he was born in Brown Township in Carroll County, in state of Ohio.
It has the father and mother's name as well.
It has the original early glass covering and I assume the frame is also original.
It measures 15 inches x 18 1/4 inches.
Colors are nice and strong with a little minor discoloration on the fraktur itself.
