Early Red Painted Pantry Box...................
Early Red Painted Pantry Box found in MA several years ago.
Generous large size measuring 15 3/4 inches in diameter and 10 inches deep.
Constructed with wooden pegs and small wire nails on the lapped edge.
Box has a repaired crack in the lid as seen in photos 1 and 2 and a reglued chip on the left side of the lid as seen in photo 1.
Slightly rounded lid but nice for the bottom of a stack.
Nice reddish brown color.
